October 21st - December 10th 2023
To fill the off-season gap during the competitive Rocket League calendar, we teamed up with Psyonix and Epic Games, to host the fifth season of The Gauntlet. The fabled community event, now with a $30,000 USD prize pool, became the greatest digital success in Oceanic Rocket League, outside of RLCS itself.
AN ONLINE
MARVEL
The Gauntlet is a fan-favourite tournament series centered around high-octane gameplay and incredible content. Season 5 not only lived up to it's reputation, but blew it beyond our imagination.

The Gauntlet features closely pitched mashups, week to week, making for a constant flow of content opportunities.
We took advantage of this by trialing new content techniques and executing informative videos.
A DIGITAL MEDIA
LANDMARK
With big teams and big names competing in The Gauntlet, the show attracts attention from notable community personalities, bringing even more engagement to the tournament.
We welcome this community engagement with open arms and think it's a critical element of the entire Gauntlet ecosystem.
"The Gauntlet has brought the Oceanic Rocket League scene together like no major tournament is capable of doing. Which is a testament to why it has been running for 5 years now."

PUTTING NAMES
TO FACES
The ability to show player cameras in the show is something we're incredibly proud of. We feel that this adds that much needed human element that helps audience better relate to the players they're seeing on the pitch!
A SEEMLESS
TOURNAMENT
Our experienced team of tournament admins did not let us down for the fifth installment of The Gauntlet.
Delays and disputes were kept to a minimum during the entire season, making for one of the best maintained tournamens of 2023.

"I think The Gauntlet has been a great tournament for pro teams and bubble teams to test themselves...It's given a chance for many teams to test themselves against the top of this region...Without this off-season tournament, I think most of our pros would've lost motivation for the game. Instead, it's only done the opposite."
